Looking back on this project I am quite happy with how it turned out. There are definitely some things that I could have done better, but all in all I had a great time at the show. I was pleased with the AI videos, my computer could not handle so many as I have learned, so I only used four. Two were leafy bushes that multiplied leaves likes cells splitting from one another. The other two were entire forests that emerged from the ground in seconds. I loved how the videos looked on their own, but when it came to the final installation they were a little hard to see on the green fake plant I bought. It was definitely possible to see if you looked close enough, but the final installation looked pretty cool either way. I also enjoyed the spot I was in, it was a little hidden surrounded by real plants from the office space so I had my own little grove. I liked the connections it portrayed of real vs artificial and the underlying connections of growth in this world. The artificial plant I used was a tall standing fern plant, a lot of sharp edges and overlapping leaves that was mostly tall and skinny. I wanted to project more of the shape of the plant, but I needed to expand the border to the actual wall so people could make out my videos better. In hind sight I should have thought more about what would happen when I project green onto green, but it still turned out good in my opinion. I got a couple comments from people saying it was interesting and pretty so I was also happy about that. All in all I enjoyed my installation and had a great time at the show.
