Overall I am happy with the way my project turned out. Throughout the whole process I was having fun with this project except a couple parts. At the beginning I was excited to animate things since I used to animate as a kid. Although the appliances were not nearly as fruitful like the ones we used for this project. I learned a lot while working through the after effects. It started slow, but as I worked I picked up the techniques to make it go faster. Especially with moving the puppets. I loved how satisfying it was to watch my animation play out after all the work I did. I also learned a very important lesson during this project. Do not trust your computer. One late night while working on this project I was hit with a scheduled update in the middle of the night. My computer began restarting and there was nothing I could do but hope. I did not lose all of my project, but almost two hours worth of work. Devastated, I knew there was no going back. I powered through getting the rest of my animation done. It did not take as long the first time as I already knew what to do. My original idea was supposed to be more serious and addiction based, but I changed it to be more fun while filming with my roommate. Which I enjoyed more throughout the process. During the rest of the project I made sure that the save button knew my name so the same thing wouldn't happen again. If I were to change one thing about my project it would be to add more sounds. The awkward silences took away from the atmosphere of the dream, but it turned out alright in my opinion besides that.
